11 ABB local companies listed among China’s Top 100 Electric Companies for 2013;
ABB leads in total number of listed companies for the 10th consecutive year

Beijing, China, Nov 14, 2013 – ABB, the leading power and automation technology group, was recognized with 11 local companies ranked among the “2013 China Top 100 Electric Companies.” ABB led in terms of the number of companies for the 10th consecutive year, fully demonstrating ABB’s overall smart technology strength in the power industry. At the same time, ABB received three other prestigious awards, “China’s Top 10 Electric Companies by Competitiveness”, “China’s Top 10 Electric Companies by Innovation Capability” and “China’s Top 10 Electric Companies by Growth Potential.” The ranking was recently announced by Electric Age, a leading trade magazine.

Beijing; ABB Xinhui Low Voltage Switchgear Co., Ltd.; ABB Zhongshan Transformers Co., Ltd.; ABB Shanghai Motors Co., Ltd.; ABB Hefei Transformers Co., Ltd.; ABB High Voltage Switchgear (Xiamen) Co., Ltd.; and ABB Electrical Machines Ltd., most of which have been selected to receive this honor several times in the past.
